Pat Cook Statement
“I bring to my work that moment when there is a connection between individuals, leaving to the viewer whether it is intimacy, friendship or a chance encounter. The challenge is to invite participitation with the way open for personal interpretation.”
Pat Cook is a Virginia artist who has exhibited and won awards with her paintings, nationally and internationally. She is a signature member of many organizations, including the American Watercolor Society and the National Watercolor Society. In addition, she is an artist member of the Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club. Her work has been exhibited at numerous museums and art centers, including the Butler Museum of American Art, Youngstown, Ohio, the Foothills Art Center in Golden, Colorado, the Salmagundi Club in New York City, and the Springfield Art Museum of Ohio. She has experience as a juror on national and local levels. Her work has been featured in American Artist, International Artist Magazine, The Artists Magazine, and Palette Magazine.
